London’s Street Trees Virtual Launch

Join Safe Haven Books and author Paul Wood online for the virtual launch of the new edition of London’s Street Trees.

Paul will talk through a presentation covering just some of the trees, people and places mentioned in the book. There’ll be a chance to ask questions too.

The launch will take place on Zoom on Thursday 30th April at 6:30. We’ll be in touch an hour before hand with the login details for the Zoom meeting.

If you’ve not used Zoom before, you will need to sign-up for an account and download the software from zoom.us. Here’s a useful video explaining what you need to do:

We’ll send you an email about an hour before the event is due to start which will contain a link to the meeting. If you click on this, you will be prompted to join. Before it starts, you’ll find yourself in the ‘waiting room’ until the host starts the meeting and lets you in. Once you’re in the meeting, you will be muted by us – this avoids feedback and unwanted background noise. If you’d like to ask a question, you’ll need to wave your hands (so please make sure you have your video switched on!) to attract our attention, and we’ll unmute you so you can ask your question.

For security reasons, we will ‘lock’ the meeting soon after it starts which means if you’re late you won’t be able to join. So to avoid complications, please make sure you have signed up for a zoom account, have the software on your device, and you click the link to join the meeting before 6:30.

We look forward to seeing you on the 30th!
